MINDFULNESS + MEDITATION

I acknowledge and honour the peaceful practices of mindfulness and meditation rooted in Buddhist, Hindu, and other ancient religious or cultural practices around the world.

Mindful Origins.

Since childhood, Erica has been a deep thinker, a creative usually lost in her own thoughts, ideas, and observations about our interconnected world. As life events unfolded, she turned to a guided meditation podcast in 2012 to cope with overthinking, rumination, and anxiety. Her curiosity led to a greater exploration of her own spirituality and interest in other forms of meditation using mantras, chanting, sound, yoga, and mindfulness. She attributes meditation to keeping her feet on the ground, living more present-minded, and bringing compassionate awareness to her body, thoughts, and patterns.
