Jaybird Queen West has turned 3, and to celebrate, I'll be offering free meditation classes through the month of February on Tuesdays at 7:45pm.

Take a journey to inner space. This class is designed to connect you with your mind, body, and spirit through a series of 2-3 mindful practices in stillness and through movement. Expand your awareness with practices such as mindful meditation, breathwork, visualizations, reflection, body scans and sound meditation to curiously explore and experience the present moment through meditation.

As we do at Jaybird, this non-traditional mental workout is done by candlelight in a heated, infrared room and fuelled by soothing ambient soundscapes. Meditation is facilitated by Erica Gittens, a mindfulness guide who creates imaginative, mindful experiences to support the reclaiming of self and to nurture inner peace through mindfulness practices.


We are a contemporary movement studio that believes in shedding the layers that hold us back, forgetting outside perceptions, and letting go of expectations.
