Join this 31-day challenge designed to get you practicing mindfulness daily and to embark on an experiment to better understand yourself through mindfulness. With the routine and observations you make, you’ll be able to return to tried-and-tested practices or explore them more deeply for this particular season or the full year.

Start your new year committed to returning to you.

How It Works

Starting on January 1st and each following Sunday of the month, you will receive an email outlining the focus for the week (see Agenda) and suggested practice(s) to do daily.

In Weeks 1-4, you will sample four categories of mindfulness, such as journaling, meditation, yoga, and activities involving loved ones inspired by the Everyday Mindfulness Auracle: 30-Card Deck.

In Week 5, we begin to review and observe our findings towards integration. The challenge with conclude with a virtual AURA Circle: 31 Days of Mindfulness Closing Ceremony hosted on Zoom to reflect and practice mindfulness in community.

You may want to dedicate a new notebook to record your experience as well as a writing utensil of your choice. And to keep track of the completion of your daily practice, create or use your preferred method. (Examples: HabitShare app, spreadsheet, draw out checkboxes)

  • EXPLORE mindfulness practices to support your mental, emotional, and physical health

  • For ACCOUNTABILITY to keep a daily mindfulness routine whehter new or returning to mindfulness

  • Using the MOTIVATION of the new year to try something different
