CARD 23: NUTURE

Nurture your connection with plants. Discover your green thumb, hug a tree, admire them, talk to them, name them, touch them, water them, and trim them. You are being called to connect with plants whether indoors or outdoors.

Might you have a new or existing plant friend in the house that needs attending to? Does their watering schedule still make sense for this time of year? Care for our plants is also a reminder of care for ourselves. We need water, sunlight, air, and nuturing as well.

As you make time to get outdoors, which plants are still thriving or may be in a state of hibernation? Interact with a chosen plant. Visualize what its lifecycle has looked like over the past year. If safe to touch, interact with its leaves, branches, or seeds.

As you observe the needs and evolution of these plants, how are you adjusting as well? How have you grown and shed over the past year? What do you need for this season?
