AURA Turns 10!
Can you believe it? Stay with me as I reflect on the past ten years—a story of growth, resilience, and unexpected turns that started from lippies (above) to where I am now.
How It All Began
My journey to AURA began with a simple yet powerful discovery: many of the brands I trusted for wellness were not promoting health at all. Determined to find a better way, I took my health into my own hands, creating natural skin products from raw butters, essential oils, and waxes derived from the earth.
When friends and family raved about the results (you know who you are), I knew I was onto something bigger—a way to help others radiate true wellness from within.
This spark led me to launch AURA BODY+HOME on March 24th, 2015 to offer healthier alternatives for lip balms, body butters, and soy candles.
Facing Uncertainty
However, as life got busier, I paused the business, uncertain of its future—yet I always held onto the hope that, in time, I would come to understand its true purpose and find a way to reignite it.
In 2020, the answer became clear. After being laid off during the pandemic and witnessing ongoing racial injustices, I felt called to support others in coping with life’s challenges.
Rebirth
A series of synchronicities led me to train as a Mindfulness, Meditation, and Yoga Teacher. By 2021, AURA BODY+HOME was reborn from the ashes with a holistic, movement-based approach, now reaching far beyond skincare and home products.
Now, as a Mindfulness Guide, my mission is to teach and empower individuals from all walks of life to embrace everyday mindfulness. To guide individuals to reclaim inner peace and to nurture self-connection.
My primary goal is to expand my visibility and global impact, championing mental health and fostering a more mindful way of living
Celebration
To celebrate, I will be making limited batches of the originally formulated Matcha Mint Lippies, one of my original beloved products from the Lippie Signature Collection.
I want to thank those of you who have supported me from the very beginning and who have joined along the way.
As I have evolved, so has AURA. Thank you AURA for coming into my life. Wishing for many more years with you!
